NGO Connect

Since 2022, there have been two editions of the Ibadan NGOs Connect which was a success. 

For the first edition which was in March 2022, Vowen Africa collaborated with Good Deeds Day, (a global movement of individuals and NGOs) in Nigeria with the theme “Long Lasting Societal Impact Through Collaboration” to reunite, to discuss topics of common goals and shared interests, with an approach to the basics of structuring and capacity building vis a vis collaboration and for the target audience to express their views and aspirations. 

The second edition was in December 2022, and the theme was “BUILDING SUSTAINABLE IMPACT THROUGH PARTNERSHIP AND COLLABORATION”. 

The goal of this second edition was to emphasize the importance of volunteering, and collaboration and refine the orientation of social entrepreneurs and the structure of NGOs so as to improve societal impact this was achieved through the several sessions that were included in the event which included a keynote speech and a panelist session of two social entrepreneurs.

For the third edition, the proposed date is June 2023 and the theme will be MAINTAINING SYSTEMS AND PROFESSIONALISM FOR SUSTAINABILITY.

FOCUS: The summit discusses real stories, real problems, and real solutions within the social impact space in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
